全編16世紀の音楽をリュートとスティング自身のヴォーカル、コーラスのみで構成。
リュート楽曲の作曲家として有名なジョン・ダウランドの楽曲をプレイしています。
なおアルバムの制作にはボスニアのリュート奏者であるエディン・カラマーゾフが協力しているそうです。
