Last Halloween, I had a party. One of the things I wanted to do was to have guests tell ghost stories around a fire. This was a great idea in my head, but then I realized I needed a ghost story to tell. I did the usual Google search, but didn't find anything I was happy with. Most of what I found were urban legends and things that I was aware that the people that I would be telling the story to had probably already heard. I realized that I was just going to have to write my own ghost story.
