Agent Nick Jones had a headache, and as he didn't know why, he went to see Doctor Brown. The doctor did the usual tests, and asked if Nick went to the boys room at the pub. "Yeah I did, and when I came back my girlfriend Barbara Land said that a pusher named Bruce had asked if she wanted any more pills. She told me she said no thanks, and this turd left our table. You have been drugged, said doctor Brown. Take this pill, and you'll be okay. I took the pill, and a short time later the ringing in my head was gone. Coming home, I asked Barbara what had happened in the pub? She with a smile said that Bruce had put half a pill in your bottle, but you came back so quickly the pill didn't have a chance to dissolve. When I told her I was going to the police, and tell them what happened, she asked me not to. Bruce and his gang are too dangerous. They will kill both of us. She was really scared as she said that. I went to see detective Jack Laurence, and told him the entire story. He told me that they had just taken Bruce and one associate into custody. When I came home I told Barbara what Laurence had told me. She got very upset, and scared. When I went to another room, she took a large knife and tried to kill herself. I contacted 9-1-1 and told the I needed an ambulance, then I called Jack and told him what she had done. I'll send someone to check it out, he said. And the ambulance took Barbara to the hospital. When I went to see her, she was sort of okay. Later they told me that someone had killed her by pushing a large knife through her heart.
