Staci, Staci, Staci. So hellish!?
It was all too much to think about at once and she refocuses her attention exclusively on the present moment. A strange new sense of gratitude overwhelms her. Even though there were a lot of terrible things surrounding them and a lot of terrible things inside of them they were still like family. Danny's head bops violently as he peddles harshly and grunts. Staci shakes hers in humorous disgust. She was scared to death but also excited and didn't feel alone. She giggles and smiles warmly as she watches Tony scratch his head with a kindhearted confusion. He turns around and gives her a big thumbs up. It was as if to let her know that everything was going to be alright. In one way or another. She was truly starting to believe it. Another inexplicable seed of hope in the midst of utter despair. She scratches her stomach with mild anxiety and wonders if Danny and her will be able to work things out. Only time would tell. He ultimately had free will to choose just like she did. Just then, Danny's grating voice breaks up her blissful stream of consciousness. “Survival of the fittest, baby!?
